Learnership Enrolment Procedure

  1. The Employee recruits learners for CHIETA accredited qualifications and learnerships
  2. Learner Enrolment forms are completed by all relevant parties, which are the Employee, Provider and Learner.
  3. Attached to the learner registration document must be the following documentation, certified copies of learner identification document and all previous qualifications.
  4. When document are fully completed it is send to the CHIETA.
  5. The learner registration forms are received by the document management department where it’s captured on the MIS for tracking.
  6. The document management unit then distributes learner registration forms to the relevant data capturers.
  7. The Data Unit then evaluates, check and verify the learner registration.
  8.  If learner registration forms are 100% completed its captured onto the MIS.
  9. Upon the capturing the MIS automatically generates learner enrolment number.
  10. Generated enrolment numbers are then e-mailed to the Employee or Training Provider.
  11. After successfully completing the specific learnership the learner achievement report (Status Form) are submitted to the CHIETA.
  12. When document are fully completed it is send to the CHIETA
  13. The learner status forms are received by the document management department where it’s captured on the MIS for tracking.
  14. The document management unit then distributes learner status forms to the relevant data capturers.
  15. The Data Unit then evaluates, check and verify the learner status forms.
  16. If learner status forms are 100% completed it captured onto the MIS.
  17. Learners file gets pulled by the filling department and send for certification.
  18. If all CHIETA requirement documents are not submitted the Data Management Unit will not be able to process application forms.
