Qualifications Matrix

There is a need to promote learning that addresses scarce and critical skills in the chemical industry. To achieve this, stakeholders and the public need a greater understanding of scarce and critical skills in the context of the Chemical Industries Sector. This includes the relationship between occupations, scarce and critical skills, qualifications, learnerships, skills programmes and providers of learning programmes.

A tool (known as the CHIETA OCCUPATIONS MATRIX) is needed transfer this understanding. Given the developmental nature of scarce and critical skills and skills development as a whole, this tool must be easily to update and distribute.
