Dear CHIETA Stakeholders and friends
This short message is to welcome all of you back in this new year of 2012, and to wish you even greater success this year with our joint efforts to develop the skills of our fellow citizens.
2011 was an eventful year where, as you know, the CHIETA enjoyed successes in many areas, thanks to your cooperation. 2012 should be even better, our best year yet! As a CHIETA staff member, I commit to serving you very well through this NSDS 3 period that has taken skills development forward to a higher level of focus in our quest for supporting the economic growth of the chemical industries sector, This through ensuring that our sector has access to a skilled and confident workforce. We will all be called upon to work hard and give it our very best in order to be successful and reach our goals and mandates.
You may be aware that the CHIETA head office on Johannesburg is being extended and that in this regard, we are rounding off with renovation work. This has required us to ask staff to report for duty on Monday 9 January 2012, as we needed to be cognizant of the potential health and safety risks to staff whilst the renovations are being completed. Nevertheless, there is a core skeleton staff available at head office, including the Office Manager in my office, Ms. Gina Molefe.
Please be aware that my leave ends on 13 January 2012. However, should there be an urgent matter that needs my immediate attention, do not hesitate to contact me at home on 011 646 2153. |
