Overview

The Projects Division (PD) plans, facilitates and manages special projects and administers Discretionary Grants linked to strategic priorities of the CHIETA. As commissioned by the Governing Board, the division develops and implements projects that are either outside the regular operations of the CHIETA, or are new initiatives that need a pilot or development phase.

The primary responsibility of the Projects Division is to ensure the optimal use (administration and management) of the Discretionary Grant Fund, and other external project funding through:

1. Alignment of Discretionary Grants to CHIETA and NSDS objectives and projects:
2. Preparation of project implementation plans and financing proposals for strategic projects as endorsed by the CHIETA Governing Board, or contained in the CHIETA Annual Business Plan;
3. Management and implementation of external projects.
