A vacancy exists within CHIETA for an Accreditation Specialist. The purpose of the job is to ensure effective

implementation of the accreditation of providers and related functions as per the requirements of the QCTO,

National Artisan Moderating Board (NAMB), the Skills Development Act (SDA) & other related acts. This position

reports to the ETQA Manager


Requirements:
A relevant completed Tertiary qualification in Education, Training & Development / Human

Resource Development / Development Studies, ideally pitched at NQF 7 or equivalent. Additional assessor,

moderator, and auditing qualifications will be advantageous.


Experience:
A minimum of 5 years’ extensive experience in Education Training & Development / Human Resource

Development, SETA and QCTO processes is essential. Experience in Quality Management Systems, Stakeholder

engagements, workshop facilitation, and project management is necessary.


Knowledge:
Knowledge of: •Relevant Skills Development legislation •The SETA environment and operations •The

Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) processes and operations related to the accreditation of skills

development providers and assessment centres •NAMB processes related to the accreditation of skills

development providers for trade related qualifications and the requirements for trade test centres •NAMB

processes for the artisan development, including ARPL •Leading ETD practices • Familiar with the Chemical

Industry sector would be advantageous.
